See who is exhibiting at ASCA 2024.

ASCA 2024 features

  • more than 50 educational sessions covering important issues for ASC professionals at every level;
  • nationally recognized ASC management experts;
  • networking opportunities with more than a thousand of your colleagues;
  • hundreds of exhibitors who can help you find the solutions your ASC is looking for; and
  • the latest regulatory and accreditation updates.

The program for this year’s conference is approved for up to 11.75 administrator education unit credits for the Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) credential by the Board of Ambulatory Surgery Certification (BASC), Provider #3272; up to 11.75 nursing contact hours by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #6949; and up to 2.50 infection prevention contact hours for the Certified Ambulatory Infection Preventionist credential by BASC Provider #3272.

Yesterday’s keynote session featured two panels of speakers from the industry’s best and brightest. Nader Samii, executive chairman of nimble solutions, kicked off the session, and Mandy Hawkins, ASCA Board president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Three Hawks Advisors, and Marie Edler, chief strategy officer of SCA Health, moderated the two panels. The first panel discussed adding new specialties, such as cardiology, bariatrics and robotics, and featured Kelly Bemis, chief clinical officer for National Cardiovascular Partners; Betsy Dovec, MD, bariatric surgeon with Body by Bariatrics; and Michael Patterson, ASCA Board member and president and CEO of Mississippi Valley Health. The second panel talked about the future of healthcare and how ASCs are going to fit into that future, and included Eric Evans, CEO and director of Surgery Partners; Jeff Snodgrass, president and CEO of Amsurg; and Rob Andrews, former congressman and CEO of Health Transformation Alliance.

During today’s Celebration Luncheon, expect to meet ASCA’s new Board members and hear from industry stalwarts. Attendees will enjoy the band Breezeway Trio during the leisurely sit-down lunch.

Later this evening, join your colleagues for the ASCA 2024 social event, Epic ’80s Backyard Party. Grab your old parachute pants or Lycra leotards and get ready to jam on the Coquina Lawn at the Gaylord Palms.

Other than the social events, ASCA’s Backyard in the exhibit hall also turned out to be a source of great entertainment. This year features popular games like ping-pong and corn hole. Attendees have been taking breaks from the educational sessions and challenging their peers to friendly games.

For downtime, the resort includes a full-service spa, modern gym and nine on-site restaurants that provide numerous dining options. Take a dip in one of the outdoor pools, ride the many water slides or challenge yourself with a surf simulator. Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort are just minutes away, and their theme parks—Animal Kingdom, featuring “Pandora: The World of Avatar,” and Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios, featuring the “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” experience and “Toy Story Land”—are hard to resist.

ASCA thanks its title sponsor, nimble; platinum sponsors, Surgical Notes and HST Pathways; and diamond sponsors, Pacira and Amsurg.

ASCA’s annual conference has remained the star of ASC industry events for more than two decades. Physicians, administrators, nurses, managers and owners of ASCs from across the country and throughout the world attend this highly regarded conference.

We hope you are having a swell time at ASCA 2024! See you at ASCA 2025, April 30–May 3, 2025, at the Gaylord Rockies in Denver, Colorado.
